With diabetes reaching near epidemic proportions in the United States, the impact of diabetes is being felt locally as well. The Diabetes & You Center of Highland District Hospital allows individuals with diabetes to receive expert advice on how to best mange their diabetes.

Our program offers:
  • one-on-one counseling
  • group sessions
  • community programs
  • screenings
  • resource library
  • lending library

Quick Diabetes Facts:
  • Two Forms – Type One and Type Two
  • Type 1 – Body Requires Daily Insulin Medication
  • Type 2 – Body Still Produces Some Insulin


Diabetes is our passion and we would love to show you how our knowledgeable staff can help you live a healthier and more comfortable life.

Hours
Tuesday and Thursday 8am to 4pm with later appointments available as needed.
