Dr. Schott has been providing ophthalmic services at HDH since 1992.
Dr. Schott treats patients requiring general eye care and is also board certified to provide complete medical and surgical eye care such as cataract removal and lens implant, as well as tear duct probing to remove blockage that can be experienced at all ages from infancy to senior years. He also performs trabeculectomy, surgical treatment for glaucoma to relieve eye pressure, and glaucoma implant to enhance the glaucoma surgery for longer lasting results. Other types of procedures include: chalazion repair (removal of lumps in eyelid); ectropion repair (sagging and outward turning of the lower eyelid and eyelashes) and temporal artery biopsy (to check for inflammation or damage to the temporal artery).
