Inpatient Care/Extended Care Unit
Highland District Hospital’s Inpatient Unit, located on the third floor, features private rooms for your peace of mind. Rooms are dedicated as general care rooms, critical care rooms, bariatric care rooms, and rooms that allow for negative air pressure for infection control.
This floor also features our Extended Care Unit (ECU) which focuses on inpatient rehabilitation prior to returning to home after a hospital stay.
